About Us

Located just 12 km from the coast and set within the historic centre of the city of Loulé, next to the 13th-century castle walls, the CaféZïque restaurant was founded on January 17th, 2020, by Chef Leandro Araújo and Sommelier João Valadas.

Both bring with them solid experience in fine dining.

Our cuisine is defined by contemporary techniques and international influences, strongly inspired by the sea and by national flavours, in a space where creativity knows no limits.

The restaurant offers a privileged view over the rooftops and cobbled streets, historic monuments and the Algarve hills, providing a natural and relaxed atmosphere.

We offer three menus: two tasting menus, which allow for a complete journey through CaféZïque’s identity, and an à la carte menu, which can be enjoyed individually or shared.

All are complemented by a wine list highlighting the diverse Portuguese regions.
